Say hello to your team

Kim began his career at two of the most respected names in the industry, KPMG and Grant Thornton, where he developed a rigorous foundation in audit and financial reporting while working with organizations at a national scale. From there, he moved into executive finance leadership, serving as CFO across a striking range of industries, including construction, real estate, financial institutions, and software. That breadth is rare, and it is exactly what allows him to walk into almost any business and immediately understand where the financial pressure points are.
He holds a Master's of Professional Accountancy with an emphasis in Information Systems from Brigham Young University. That background gives him not just financial expertise, but a sharp understanding of the systems and processes that make or break a growing company's ability to scale.
Kim serves and has served on several boards, including as CFO for a not-for-profit organization, reflecting the same values he brings to every client relationship: preparation, clarity, and a genuine investment in the outcome.
Today, Kim leads Aconter with the conviction that a business's financial strategy should not be an afterthought. It should be the foundation everything else is built on.
